Linda Fitzgerald

A group fitness instructor/indoor cycling teacher for over 20 years who dabbled in yoga, Linda formed a steady relationship with the practice in 2010.  She found it offered a much needed balance to all the cycling and strength training classes she was teaching.  At the urge of a friend/yoga teacher, Linda began her first teacher training in 2012 with Yoga Fit, and began her yoga teaching journey.

Participating in her first Baptiste Power Yoga workshop in 2013, a flame was was lit deep within; so much so that Linda was inspired to leave her current teacher training program and pursue this style of yoga.  Under the guidance of Lesley Reilly, Linda completed her 200 hours with BCalm Power Yoga in Hopkinton, MA (and began teaching classes at the studio in 2013.)  Furthering her desire to grow, Linda went on to train with Baron Baptiste in 2016, receiving her Baptiste Level 1 certificate.

Linda has found that during her teaching journey, her style continues to evolve and grow.  A music freak, Linda currently teaches a creative power flow set to music.  By offering creative sequencing with a balance of strength and ease, she seeks to challenge her students to step beyond their comfort zone, but at the same time, seek out and embrace space.

Yin yoga also holds a special place in Linda’s heart. She has found it to not only be helpful in relieving her arthritis, but also a way to bring space and ease into her own life. Linda has also studied and received a certificate of completion in Yin Yoga with Sagel Kelley Urlacher.   She continues to be an enthusiastic student and is constantly inspired to grow by her fellow teachers, and taking workshops.

Her other passions are her family, her road bike and her two adorable cats.
