WiFi and Cell Service
Blue Osa is an eco-resort, meaning the electricity comes from solar panels. (there is a generator backup that is used in case of emergency) This is why only limited rooms have AC, though there are ceiling fans and breezes in all rooms!
Wifi is offered in the large dining room, which is a communal space. Wifi does not support Zoom calls and streaming. Depending on the carrier, cell service can be spotty, but is usually best at the beach. It’s important to keep in mind that one of the goals of Blue Osa, and of our retreat, is to unwind and unplug.
Spa
There is also a beautiful spa on the premises that offers treatments and massages during the week of our retreat. Blue Osa’s therapists practice a blend of holistic approaches and use natural botanicals from the Costa Rican rainforest.
This will truly be relaxing, beautiful, and will nourish your body and soul with sun, surf, movement, and connection.
In Costa Rica, you hear the term Pura Vida (POO-rah-VEE-dah) quite often. The literal translation is “pure life.” But Costa Ricans often use it to express the joy we find in the simplest of things; a greeting, farewell, and even as a way to express gratitude. This will certainly be a week that will honor the spirit of Pura Vida, and we hope you join us.
