Colleen Allen

Colleen has been involved in various forms of fitness for over 30 years. A certified personal trainer with ACE (American Council on Exercise) and youth soccer/coach, Colleen has run three marathons, participated in several triathlons and half marathons and played both soccer and ice hockey through college.

With 3 children, a love of exercise, stiff muscles and a lack of flexibility, Colleen found her yoga mat in 2001. Initially, practicing yoga was purely for strength and flexibility. As Colleen continued to step onto her yoga mat, she realized how beneficial yoga was in her everyday life.

After 6 years of developing a strong love of the practice, Colleen took her first teacher training with Metrowest Yoga. Her passion for fitness and experience leading and guiding athletes, made the transition to encouraging others to seek the whole body benefits of yoga completely natural for her. Colleen has since completed The Art of Alignment & Assisting Yoga Training through Yogathree, and participated in several teacher trainings and workshops with yoga masters such as Baron Baptiste, Desiree Rumbaugh, Coeli Marsh and Ana Forrest immersion workshops.

Colleen also teaches at at Anytime Fitness in Grafton and Hopkinton Country Club and subs at USMMA in Bellingham.
